Reporting to a Board of Management member and leading a class-beating finance team of 5, I have day-to-day financial responsibility for this 100M+ revenue, charitable, genomic research Institute. My duties also include:
Drafting and producing the year end Statutory Accounts.
Managing all third party grants/projects (currently over 200 live), reporting and the audit of that funding subject to each individual funder Terms & Conditions.
Assist and advise in the preparation of externally funded grant budgets and forecasts.
VAT, Treasury management, P35, P11Ds and ONS returns.
Motivation, development and management of the Finance Team.
Advising senior staff on fiscal, legal and personnel issues and be focal point of contact to all external auditors.
